ALEJANDRO GARCÍA

Protection and Surveillance Coordinator | BICA Utila

My name is René Alejandro García Guerrero, I was born in Comayagua Comayagua, graduated in Ecotourism from the National Autonomous University of Honduras at the regional university center of the Atlantic coast CURLA in La Ceiba, with a great passion for nature, ecosystems and their biodiversity From an early age, I am a person who likes to work for the conservation and protection of natural resources and teach future generations about environmental education and the value that nature offers us.

Through my years as a nature photographer I have taught people a lot about being able to protect these important species that our beautiful country has, I have worked on reforestation projects in the Pico Bonito National Park as well as in different bird monitoring within the area, eleven months ago I arrived on the island, delighted to to be able to work on the protection of the sea turtles that arrive every year on the coast of Utila and to be able to work with the coastal marine resources that they have in the Islas de la Bahía National Marine Park.
